avast! for Kerio is ICSA certified antivirus software designed to provide protection for all traffic going through Kerio Mail Server and Kerio Winroute Firewall. Its scanning engine was awarded with the Virus Bulletin VB 100% mark multiple times.

AVAST true incremental updates are based on iAVS technology and they are available for both virus definition file update and for program upgrade. As the updates are absolutely vital, both the virus database and the program itself can be updated automatically. The updates are incremental, and only new data are downloaded, thus reducing the transfer time. The typical size of a virus database update is approximately of 20-80kb, the program update usually has approximately 200-500kb.

avast! for Kerio can be used only in confunction with the Kerio products listed above. If you are already using avast! Server Edition, then you don't have to actually install avast! for Kerio. Instead, you can use your existing avast! Server Edition installation to provide virus scanning capability to the Kerio products. All you have to do is purchase the appropriate number of licenses for avast! for Kerio, and hand the supplied license file to the installed Server Edition.
